Pros and Cons of the Innotek Adv 1002
Beginning with the negative aspects, I think the most notable deficiency of the Innotek ADV-1002 is the lack of momentary stimulation or tone, which are already standard features in other brands’ models. On the bright side, the Innotek Adv 1002 has other features unique to it as well. The most important innovation, I think, is designing a single transmitter with two separate buttons for each of the dogs involved. Such a design offers the most convenience to the trainer, especially compared to the other brands’ units which only contain two separate dials, not full control sets. Innotek Adv 1002 considerately allows the trainer to work on different stimulation levels for the two dogs. This is particularly important since the two dogs are likely to have very different characteristics and, therefore, require different training levels.
