Learning How to Repair Credit is Easy

Wednesday, September 23rd, 2009

In order to improve your credit score, take a close look at any accounts that are past due or maxed out.  These are the items that you need to take care of immediately in order to begin restoring your credit rating.  It looks much better on your credit report if all your past due accounts are current or that you are in the process of paying them.  Find all credit card accounts that are maxed out and bring them below the credit limit.  It is quite simple to learn how to repair credit if you have a strong desire to get back on track again and become a qualified borrower.

How I Became a Legal Administrative Assistant

Sunday, September 20th, 2009

When I decided to quit my job and pursue my dream of a job within the criminal justice system, I wasn’t sure which kind of job would be right for me. My neighbor works for a law firm, and she told me that I would make a great legal administrative assistant. She told me where I could receive my education, and I enrolled in the necessary courses. It was so fascinating to learn about the facets of the legal system, and it felt good to be making my community a better place. Now I am enjoying a great job that pays well, and is the right fit for me.

Cosmetology

Thursday, September 17th, 2009

One program offered by a beauty institute could be a cosmetology program. What exactly is a certification in cosmetology. Hairdresser/hairstylist, manicure/pedicure, and shampooer are all job titles that fall under the category of cosmetology. But keep in mind that licensing and training differ for each. In order to become licensed  cosmetologist you have to graduate from a state certified program and be at least 16 years old. Some states require an apprenticeship. In order to get your license you must pass a written test and demonstrate your ability to preform certain cosmetology tasks. Cosmetologist jobs are predicted to grow faster than average in the upcoming years.

Research Help Needed

Sunday, September 6th, 2009

I am looking to do research on companies that aim to help people, not just manufacture goods and or services. I have some ideas but wonder if anyone has first hand experience dealing with these types of companies? A friend suggested a company run by a man named El-Hibri and I will definitely look him up, but are there any other people or companies specifically that put the welfare of people before the profit of the company? I haven’t figured out the slant of my research yet, I only know that I want to deal with good, positive companies and leaders in these industries.

The LPN RN Bridge is a Task that is Achievable

Monday, August 31st, 2009

Sometimes it can happen in a person’s life that they have been doing something for so long that they feel like they can’t go any higher.  They do a good job at the level they currently occupy, but there is another level available and they do not take it simply because the challenge seems too large.  With the lpn rn bridge it is possible to make the next move even if a person has been satisfactorily operating at that current level for some time.  If a new level of training is desired or required, this is the way to go.  Moving up to the higher level of certification gives a person new opportunities that were not open to them before.

I Became a Medical Assistant and Got a Job Right After Training

Saturday, August 22nd, 2009

I couldn’t believe how easy it was to get a job as soon as I completed my medical assistant training.  I was told this field was in need of people and that was true.  If you are interested in the medical field but do not want to go through the classes you have to take to become a doctor or nurse, medical assisting is perfect for you.  I love my job and the people I get to work with every day.  The patients seem to be happy to see me and I am happy to seem them.  I try to give them a laugh or two while I am performing the tasks for which I was trained.  Laughter truly is good medicine.

Winter Wedding Centerpieces with Flowers

Friday, August 21st, 2009

Thinking of wedding centerpieces can be difficult no matter what kind of wedding you’re going to be planning. Perhaps one of the most popular centerpieces that brides love to use for their weddings include flowers. But flower arrangements can be easy to come up with for spring and summer weddings, but what if you’re planning a winter wedding? What kinds of flowers go with winter wedding centerpieces?

The best place to start is by talking to your florist to see what kinds of flowers naturally bloom in winter. Finding blooms that naturally bloom in winter are less expensive, and make a total statement about some of your favorite things about winter.

Some of my favorite flowers for winter wedding centerpieces are bright red roses, poinsettias, dark green holly and other plants that really accentuate winter.

You Want to Become a Medical Transcriptionist

Wednesday, August 19th, 2009

If you want to become a medical transcriptionist now is the time to enter this fantastic field of medicine.  I have been doing medical transcription for many many years and continue to do so even at my present age. It is a career that can last you a lifetime if you so choose.  I, like many others today, work from home and make my own hours.  Of course, the transcription must  be done on a timely basis but most people, like myself, have no problem with that. I am able to work from home and can make appointments that fit quite nicely into my schedule.  I never tire of my job.

Careers in Surgery

Wednesday, August 12th, 2009

Not long ago, I found that I needed to make a career change that would support me and my family over the long haul.  After looking around at several educational programs and doing a lot of reading about job outlooks and predictions, I decided to train to become a surgical technician.  The training only took a year, and I became certified.  I had a job before I even completed the program, and started work immediately. I am now a vital part of the surgical team at a very well known and respected hospital.  The work is great and the pay is better than I have ever before earned.
