Playsets: A Must For Every Child

Friday, February 19th, 2010

Playsets are a must have for every child! They are the perfect back yard accessory for any kid. This will keep the kids out of the house and exercising and having fun for hours on end. The good news for you is that this will give you time to get other things done around the house while they’re playing, or even just to take time to relax. The kids will love that you bought them such a great gift. They will remember the playset when they are parents themselves and will realize just how great you where for buying it for them.

A Portland Pest Control Lesson

Thursday, February 18th, 2010

The first time I visited Oregon, it was during my senior year of high school. I went to visit my Aunt and Uncle, and fell in love. After that trip I always said I would move back someday, and now I have. It’s different from where I grew up in Nevada, but I love those differences. Even when I had to call a Portland pest control company to take care of some unwelcome visitors I never even knew existed until I moved, I just looked at it as a learning experience. I finally feel like I am home, and am so happy.

How To Use Eco Friendly Building Materials

Wednesday, February 17th, 2010

A lot of people would want to help save the planet one way or another. One effective way of doing so is by starting a home. By using eco friendly building materials in home building is a growing trend in home renovation and construction today. Building a home while saving the environment can be both fun and easy, and most importantly, it can help you save a lot of money.

Here a few tips on how to use nature-friendly building materials.

1. Decide how far as being environmentally friendly you want your renovation to be.

2. Use flooring materials that are not made from new trees.

3. Materials for house surfaces like for your counters and cabinets should all be eco-friendly.

4. Use only environmentally friendly paints and those that do not contain toxins.

5. Shop locally for materials as much as possible.

6. Check the internet for other possible eco-friendly building resources.

Keeping my Farm Afloat

Tuesday, February 16th, 2010

I have a little farm on my land that keeps me sustained and give me a small profit during the months. I only have chickens, cows and a few crops, but it is all things that I use to pay the bills. When I found that I could install a rain water tank to recycle the rain into water I could use for my animals and crops, I investigated it thoroughly. It would be a big investment, but in the long run, it would mean one less bill I would have to pay later on. Although my farm doesn’t bring me in a large income, with one less bill to pay, I would be a little better off.

Daughter Gets a Room Makeover

Monday, February 15th, 2010

Our daughter has been begging to get her room made over.  She is a teenager now and she does deserve something a little more grown up.  So, we decided to go to our local furniture store to see what she had in mind.  She saw these Modern Coffee Tables and wanted to base the theme around one of those.  So, we found several pieces that matched and since they were having a sale, we made out really well.  We brought it home in our truck and took out the old furniture and put in the new.  It looks so much more grown up now and the best part is that she loves it.

Furniture navigator is the Place to Be!

Saturday, February 13th, 2010

It is rare  these days that you discover a website that has great prices on quality items that is also very easy to use, but recently I was lucky enough to find just that. The site I’m talking about offers a very sizable inventory of top quality furniture products, and their selection is so good that I had a really hard time choosing what I wanted, it was all great. They have everything furniture related at this website that you would ever need, everything from dressers to Furniture Navigator and much, much more. What makes this site even more impressive is the fact that in addition to their selection they only stock the best products for extremely affordable prices. What really made my mind up about buying from this company was that in addition to all of their great prices, they also provide free shipping and no sales tax so you save even more money.

A Rice Cooker That Cleans Itself

Friday, February 12th, 2010

Sometimes, life’s little oddities make themselves known. I, for one, dislike washing up, and would like to know what’s the best rice cooker that makes it simpler? Doing the dishes would be such a snap with a self-cleaning rice cooker. The one task I hate most is to leave the rice cooker bowl to soak and loosen up all the tough scraps of rice. A self-cleaning rice cooker is the perfect appliance for me. It would also be extremely preferable if that rice cooker could make risotto and brown rice also. Convenience is king when it comes to cooking. I like utilizing those all-in-one appliances. Yet, cooking is a deep and abiding interest of mine.

Finding The Perfect Bathtubs For Your Particular Needs

Thursday, February 11th, 2010

Today’s Bathtubs are incredible because they don’t just fill with water anymore. You can get models still, rather the majority out there, that are just your basic bathtub with different looks, styles and shapes that enjoy a great volume of water to take a very nice bath, but many people are looking for more. By more I mean a tub that has jets to massage the tired muscles and help you meditate away the days stress. Some tubs have some innovative features like faucets that pour the water like a waterfall and others that have built in waterfalls on the side that recycle the water over and over again for effect!

Grapefruit Essential Oil In My Medicine Cabinet

Tuesday, February 9th, 2010

I believe in what essential oils can do for me. As a matter of fact, I prefer to use them especially when I am sick. One of the oils that I have is the grapefruit essential oil. My mother was the one who gave me the oil, and I have one in my medicine cabinet at home and in the office. At first, I did not believe in what the oils can do. However, I realized that they are effective and are harmless. They are also very affordable. Thus, you are assured that you can purchase one without having to worry about the price you will pay.

Glorious Food

Tuesday, February 9th, 2010

I am so glad I’m not a picky eater anymore.  Ever since I opened my tastebuds up to more varieties of food, I have been one happy camper.  The best change I made, is when I started eating Asian food.  That stuff is so delicious, mostly when made Authentically.  Seriously though, Asian food isn’t one of those food types that you can just pop into the microwave for a couple minutes.  It is certainly worth waiting for.  I still remember my first crab rangoon and my first egg roll.  I had them the same day! It was heaven, then I tried orange chicken and fell in love forever.
