Candle Making- Fun for Boys and Girls

Wednesday, September 30th, 2009

Both of my children are enrolled in a class this year that will teach them how to make beeswax candles.  Surprisingly enough, they are both equally excited.  I thought I would get some push back from my son but he thinks it’s really cool  I think he thinks he’ll be able to win over girls with this new skill.  Whatever works for him works for me.  My daughter loves to make anything so this class was immediately up her ally.  I’m sure in a few weeks we’ll have more candles than we’ll know what to do with.  At least they will make great holiday gifts!

Friday, September 11th, 2009

The drums are associated with rock music.  Even though, the drums are also useful in jazz music.  Most people connect drums with hardcore metal and rock music genres.

Roland MC-303 Drum machines are very versatile

Monday, September 7th, 2009

Roland MC-303 Drum machines are very versatile electronic instruments. Not only can they imitate the sounds of drums and other percussion instructions, they can be used in a variety of musical genres and situations. For example, they can be used when a drummer is not available for a recording session. Drum Machines (also called rhythm machines) have pre-programmed sounds with realistic sound quality. They are flexible and allow the player to adjust controls to experiment with other sounds. Rhythm machines were first available commercially in organs in the late 1960’s, and were intended as accompaniment. The leader at that time was the Rhythm Ace, produced by a company called Ace Tone and later known as Roland.

You need to be disciplined as well.

Saturday, August 22nd, 2009

One might well ask what the difference between perseverance and being disciplined is. When one perseveres, one keeps at something until such time as one is satisfied with the end product. But to initiate this process requires discipline. Especially if this is something you have to do on your own such as learning a script. This requires discipline something that you will be told at the San Diego Acting Schools. The discipline makes you pick up your script and persevere at the learning of your words until you know your part well. A successful acting career will also be characterized by disciplined training through which one is able to improve one’s acting skills.

Brother Does Well With Cartoon Draw Renditions, Caricatures

Friday, August 21st, 2009

My brother is a very accomplished artist who does these amazing caricatures of people at public gatherings. He is so good at it, that many times he will have people waiting in line to get a chance to sit in his chair and have him create a cartoon draw rendition of their face. He makes quite a tidy bit of cash at it too, as he is extremely good at what he does. He is able to capture all of the nuances of a person’s features with aplomb and also with style. I believe that one day he will be an artist who is in great demand.
