Explaining The California Lemon Law
The California lemon law is popularly known to all as the Song-Beverly Consumer Warranty Act and is found in the California Civil Code sections 1790 et seq. It is specifically designed to protect consumers who purchase or lease warranted motor vehicles against traders and dealers who practices unfair trades against consumers. The California lemon law is applicable to all motor vehicles. The Lemon Law’s applicability is also to all consumer goods and benefits are almost identical to its applicability to motor vehicles. This law is helpful to all consumers who are suffering from these unfair trade acts from their local motor vehicle traders and dealers.
