Getting your PC to Teach you the Blues
Learning an instrument, a creative endeavour, from a PC might be an oxy moron, but for me it’s what first introduced me to the blues. I had signed up to a guitar membership site wanting to take their lessons for a spin and decided I’d start with their online blues guitar lessons first. I wasn’t really familiar with any of the skills or techniques of playing the blues so I started with the beginner area. After a lesson or two I understood the 12 bar blues and was quickly learning them in a variety of keys as well as how to start learning some lead skills. For someone looking to get started I believe this is a solid option that is really cost effective.
