The LPN RN Bridge is a Task that is Achievable

Monday, August 31st, 2009

Sometimes it can happen in a person’s life that they have been doing something for so long that they feel like they can’t go any higher.  They do a good job at the level they currently occupy, but there is another level available and they do not take it simply because the challenge seems too large.  With the lpn rn bridge it is possible to make the next move even if a person has been satisfactorily operating at that current level for some time.  If a new level of training is desired or required, this is the way to go.  Moving up to the higher level of certification gives a person new opportunities that were not open to them before.

The Award-winning Daiwa Reel Saltist Lever Drag 2 Speed Conventional Reel

Monday, August 31st, 2009

The ICAST 2009 New Product Showcase was won by a Daiwa reel – the Saltist Lever Drag 2 Speed Conventional Reel. It was not just the sleek look, I think. I can tell that this is going to be a classic Daiwa reel. The gear shift was convenient, the gears were smooth and precise, the anti-reverse was effective and the aluminum frame itself was sturdy. I had not trouble at all throwing live bait. No backlashes and no tangles every time. It was fairly lightweight too. I certainly couldn’t as more of a Daiwa reel. It certainly deserved its prize. I even tested it on saltwater and did not notice any change in the smoothness or precision afterwards. All I can say is that it well deserved the award it got.

A Pepper Gun Will Keep me Safe

Monday, August 31st, 2009

I know that there are a lot of people out there that are trying to do you hard. They want to steal something from you, or hurt you in some way. I am not going to be a victim. There are too many victims out there. So, I have decided that I am going to get a pepper gun. I know that will really help me to make some smart choices about what I am able to do when I am alone. If I know I will have some protection, I will be a bit more brave when it comes to where I go.

Gorillapods aren’t essential

Sunday, August 30th, 2009

You might find this hard to believe but some people who own Gorillapods don’t even use them for taking photos. A lot of them simply like to play with their flexible legs as if that gives them more joy than taking photos. Of course Gorillapods aren’t essential for taking photos but they really make things easier. The main problem with them is that sometimes it can take a little while to straighten out their legs to give you a level image. Luckily you can usually just adjust the head to get your image level so it’s not such a problem.

I Just Bought A New Calendar

Sunday, August 30th, 2009

I was down to the mall today and decided to pick me up a new 2010 calendar. I know it is only about half way through 2009, but I cant wait for the new year. I love having a fresh start on things. This year I bought a word calendar; hoping to expand my vocabulary. For next year I bought a joke calendar; hoping to expand my wit.

Having a fresh new calendar on my desk is so exciting. Its like having a clean slate. You can leave the past year behind, learn from previous mistakes, and move forward in life.

The Only Contact Available is Through Radios

Sunday, August 30th, 2009

My husband and I have been married for two years, dated for two before that, and it’s honestly a wonder that we ever met at all! His family lives up on the mountain, so far back that they don’t have electricity or phone service of any kind. The closest town is twentymiles away, and is just a tiny mountain town at that! They use motorola radios to talk with the owner of the gas station/bar/restaurant/post office. I was up hunting near their property with my dad, and when I killed my elk, I got turned around and couldn’t figure out where I was. I remembered seeing their place on the ride up, and so I dressed my elk, loaded up what I could on the horse, and walked back to their place. After that I kept seeing him everywhere, and ended up dating, and then marrying.

Cheap Homeowners Insurance: It’s A Good Step To Re-Appraise Your Coverage From Periodically

Sunday, August 30th, 2009

Considering nothing stays the same for ever, it’s a good step to review your homeowners insurance policy from time to time to ensure you neither pay more than you should nor have inadequate coverage. That expensive fur coat might no longer be worth as much as when you insured it.

You will save and still have adequate coverage by lowering your home insurance coverage accordingly if it has dropped in value. However, a review may reveal it’s now worth a lot more and that you need to increase coverage. Whichever way it goes, you are covered in either savings or maintaining enough coverage.

Are There Chat Rooms For Disabled People?

Saturday, August 29th, 2009

Having a disability can be difficult on its own, but sometimes it’s harder when I feel I can’t talk to others like me. One night while surfing the Internet I found a place where I could meet and talk to others who had a disability, like me. Maybe not the exact same kind, but they knew the difficulties I faced. With disabled chat rooms I can talk to other people who share the same frustrations and same obstacles that I do. I’m not going to let my disability keep me down, and now there’s a place where I can go and spend time with other like-minded people.
