Doing up my offices

Friday, July 31st, 2009

I have been running my own accountancy business for the past twelve years.  Of course, there have been plenty of ups and downs during that time.  One thing I do know for sure is that my office is going to be redecorated later this year. I am planning on getting new carpets and completely revamping the reception area.  I have seen some really contemporary office wall art and have chosen some nice pieces.  Hopefully this will make the office look smarter and encourage new clients through the door.  After all, who wants to go into an accountants that looks like it is still in the dark ages!

Taking Care of Mom

Friday, July 31st, 2009

I never thought that I would see the day where my mom would be all alone.  Since my dad died she has had a really rough time.  She is not able to get around much, and because I am always on the road with the band, I don’t have much time to go home to see her.  A friend of mine told me about a company that does home care bucks county pa, and said that they come highly recommended.  I gave them a call and asked them what they can do for my mom.  They were very kind and they assured me that they could help her.

Small Business Grant Awarded to Buy Restaurant

Friday, July 31st, 2009

For the past three months, I have been applying for small business grants so I can buy a restaurant.  Just when I was about to give up hope, I received the news I have been waiting for.  My application was approved.  First I laughed, then I cried, and then I called my mother and father.  We had an impromptu celebration that evening and the next day it was time to get down to work.  I met with the realtor and he began the process of closing the sale.  The restaurant itself is in good condition, so all I’ll have to do is paint and decorate the interior to my liking.  After that I will have to get in contact with suppliers and put in orders for the food I need.  The next step will be to hire the wait staff and an extra cook.  I can’t wait to open and begin this new and exciting chapter of my life.

How Does Solar Power Work? Is this a question that is bugging you to be answered?

Friday, July 31st, 2009

Do you know how solar power works? Do you know how energy is harnessed from the sun and turned into a form of energy - electricity - that you can use to run your home, your electric car, your farm, business or on a larger scale your  town, school, factory, shopping mall? How does Solar Power Work? is something that is being taught at schools and colleges now and students are encouraged to get involved in building viable solar power systems as projects to help them understand the principles involved so that they can take that theoretical and practical knowledge into their lives and communities. Educate yourself and know how these green alternative energy power generating systems work.

He Can’t Stand Being Still

Friday, July 31st, 2009

My father is a very interesting person. He is an architect, and he works for NASA. Most of the time, he just sits in an office and designs buildings for them, but he has actually seen a rocket take off. He has all kinds of interesting stories to tell about it. In his spare time, he camps, hikes, and designs things for people. He doesn’t care if it is house designs, shed designs, or Bathtub Designs. And he doesn’t charge for this work, either. He does it just for the fun of it. I think he just can’t stand being still. If he didn’t have something to do, he might just roll over and die.

My mom has GoDaddy on the brain

Friday, July 31st, 2009

My mom has this idea that her local beauty salon should get a website. I don’t know why she thinks so I mean our whole town is less than a thousand people! I think it started when she was taking that course at the community college in Bakers Hill. She knows some stuff about the web now and I think she’s itching for a project. She told me that a 2009 valid GoDaddy coupon code would get them started cheap and that she’d do the rest. I still don’t understand though. I mean it’s the same twenty five people getting their hair set every week- how much more business does she think a website is gonna do for our tiny patch of people?

Try Out Some of The New Digital Cameras to Find The One You Like Best

Friday, July 31st, 2009

I was recently doing some searching online for a new digital camera.  The old one that I currently use shoots pretty low quality photographs, so I decided that getting something much better should be a priority.  While I found that there were many different types of cameras to choose from, I was in search of a DSLR because I wanted to take excellent pictures and have the ability to change the settings.  The first thing I did was go to the store to try out some of these cameras so that I would know which one did everything that I needed it to do.  I found that that Nikon D60 digital camera was exactly what I was looking for.

The Process of Sleep Dentistry

Friday, July 31st, 2009

The process works like this: a tiny rubber inhaler will bepositioned over the person’s nose and attuned so that thepatient is at ease. While this is happening, the patientwill be inhaling100% oxygen. Some people initially when they first inhale the laughinggas will experience a sensation that they are not receivingenough air. When this happens, the individual must inform the Sleep Dentistry personnel so that they will make accessible to youa little more oxygen to breathe in. When the patient isrelaxed and inhaling in the oxygen, the sleep dentistrystaff will progressively bring in the nitrous oxide.

For the subsequent duration of three to five minutes, youwill be asked, how you are feeling as the dentist and histeam begin to slowly increase the amount of nitrous oxidethat is being administered to the patient.
